CLUB MEMBERSHIP (2019)
Welcome to Capital Penguins Inline Hockey Club. We are accepting membership in all grades, from the youngest players interested in a dynamic and fun team sport to mature adults who are looking to try something new and stay fit.
Our club is both an incorporated society and charitable organisation. Our focus is on engaging and encouraging our members to participate in inline hockey, team work, and the collegial spirit of the club. We provide team training and player development and facilitate team and individual participation in competition at a local, regional, national and international level.
TRAINING AND GAME FEES
Junior Player - $70
Senior Player - $70
Family - $120 (2 or more players)
Non-Player - Free
The club has a ‘no pay no play’ policy. Training fees allow the club to recover the cost of hiring the rink for team trainings. Like other sporting codes, we pay the same facility hire regardless of whether all players attend their trainings. When you join a team, you are committing to pay your team training fees in full, regardless of your attendance.
If you team is registered to play in the IHNZ Lower North Championship, the entry fees for those events are charged to all members of the team, regardless of individual player attendance.
Entry costs for friendly tournaments, the IHNZ National Championships Super League, the IHNZ Junior Interregional Championships and other sanctioned events is charged on a cost- recovery basis and attributed equally to the players listed on the official entry form.
IHNZ registration is required for every player, referee and official participating in:
IHNZ National Tournament championship, IHNZ Lower North championship & any other official qualification games
IHNZ Junior Interregional championship
New Zealand representative teams & team trials
IHNZ sanctioned events / tournaments
Player - $40
Official - $10
Referee - $10
Associate - $10 optional donation
Registration and payment must both be complete before participation in any of the above. The annual IHNZ registration cut-off is 31 July of each year.
