Clash @ The Capital Event Draw (2014)

This year, for the first time, we host the Panthers Club (Auckland) and our old friends the Whalers (Nelson).  We have teams in all age grades – Whalers and Panthers U10/12/14/16, Senior and Prem grades.  Ravens are sending their U18/19 team and the Marlborough Flames Senior A team will also be there. There will be lots of good hockey to watch and something for all Penguins players.

This is a friendly even so we are playing for the spirit of the game and inter-club friendship, not for trophies and rankings.  Players can play across their own club teams and play their own grade and above, as well as across clubs where agreed by respective managers.

We are also holding a Junior and Senior Skills Session before the Saturday evening dinner, including the usual Fastest Skater, Sniper, and Best Goal Tender, as well as a new category Fastest Shot, for $5 entry to any or all categories per player. A specially designed banner awaits the winner of each category.
